The Harrisonburg Education Foundation
Teacher Supply Depot
The Harrisonburg Education Foundation, 2010
Providing the Harrisonburg City
Public Schools with the
resources it needs in order to be
successful.
Did you know that most teachers spend more than $500 of their own money for supplies for their classroom? The Harrisonburg
Education Foundation has a way to help reduce teachers' out-of-pocket expenses for supplemental classroom supplies.

Located on Garbers Church Road just south of Harrisonburg High School, the supply depot is a central storehouse for items
donated by businesses, local groups and members of the community, which are then offered to teachers for use in their
classrooms at no cost.

The Harrisonburg Education Foundation has provided more than $90,000 worth of supplies to teachers and staff members in the
Harrisonburg City Schools through the supply depot. These supplies directly benefit the students in the classrooms.
