The Harrisonburg Education Foundation has introduced a new program that gives community members the opportunity to honor a
teacher or staff member of the Harrisonburg City Public Schools in a "very special way'. The program is designed so that parents,
teachers, students and community members may make a donation to the Harrisonburg Education Foundation and in turn honor
that special teacher or staff member. Here is how the program works:

1. Send a contribution to the HEF for at least $25.00.
2. Include the name of the teacher or staff member that you would like to honor.
3. The teacher or staff member receives a letter stating that you have made a donation to the Harrisonburg Education Foundation
in his/her honor.
4. You will receive a letter confirming your donation and this letter may be used for tax purposes.

All the money raised from the "Honor a Teacher Program" is used to further the mission of the Harrisonburg Education
Foundation. By honoring a teacher or staff member you not only say "thank you" to that special teacher but also support the
