Sherry Burcham Anderson 5K Run and Walk was held on May 15, 2010 Over 300 walkers and runners participated in this special event. The HEF raised over $13,000 which supports all the HEF's programs. The Breakfast of Champions was held at James Madison University on May 26, 2010 The Breakfast of Champions sponsored by the Harrsionburg Education Foundation is a yearly celebration of education in the Harrisonburg City Public Schools. All the "Educators of the Year" as well as our "Retired Teacher of the Year" are recognized at this special event. The Superintendent of Schools also presents the state of the schools address. |
